Muse Mermaids in The Daily Mail

WIN and AWESOME!

This week has been SO full of WIN and AWESOME, that I might feel like Charlie Sheen does with his tiger warlock blood.. or something to that effect.

I've been keeping under wraps that I was doing some very special to me training with the Muse Fusion girls, but this past weekend, herding cats turned into cat-FISH! We were lucky enough to travel to Weeki Wachee Springs and train with the lovely former mermaids (who swim once a month). I had some trouble sinking, I tend to float), and I've lost a lot of lung capacity from the pulmonary emboli, but I still learned a TON. Luckily, Mig, a photographer friend of mine, was at BARF, and left early on Sunday to get some pictures of mermaid Muse. Here are a couple:

Anyway, that was awesome. I wrote down everything I learned and will continue to practice.

Tuesday, I just happened to see that Hoopnotica was giving away two LED hoops with a battery and charger in Miami. I responded with the right phrase, and won . That's $300 worth of hoops! Luna picked them up for me, so we're sharing, she keeps one and I get the other (it's not like we won't each eventually buy the other hoop anyway).

I decided I wanted to join the YMCA for the pool to practice my mermaid stuff, and when I called them, they were running a promotion waiving their insane "joining fee" through Saturday, so I called at the right time and saved $90 on that, too! I now have access to all the Central Florida YMCA's. Yay!

Today, my doctor said I could do whatever I want physical activity wise, and that cardio conditioning would help me regain some of my lung capacity. He did say it would never be like before, but it would come back close. He also said that I could have a salad and some light greens every day and he would adjust my coumadin around that. I miss salads and spinach so much, I'm ready to up my dose of rat poison to get some of that back in my diet. :-) He also said it would be safe for me to get SCUBA certified, so I'm definitely going to look into that.

On top of all that, I found an attorney who is finally willing to check into taking my malpractice case against JFK for almost killing me. The fact that they're even willing to investigate is is awesome, since I get rejection letters from basic inquiries from most attorneys.

The only bad thing that has happened so far this week is that I dropped my phone while getting out of the car, and it landed face down, shattering the screen. However, I have my old G1 to fall back on, and tomorrow night, I'll be taking my G2 to Best Buy and using their replacement plan yet again, lol. I think they'll be tired of seeing me soon! I've dropped my G1 multiple times and the screen is just fine, so I think in addition to me being clumsy, the G2 has a less accident proof design. There are some cases for it now, so I'm going to buy one of those and replace the screen protector when I get my next one.

Luna and I have decided to work on training schedules, so far, here's mine:

Monday: 8:30-9 Cardio at the Y, 9:15-10:15 - Pool Training,  11-8 work, 8:30-9 Hoopnotica Practice

Saturday and Sunday: Varied, but Pool Training of at least 1 hour, Hoopnotica practice at least one hour, cardio at least 1 hour, and Yoga and Bellydance for at least 2 hours some time in the weekend hours.

Let's see if I can stick to that and loose some weight while getting better at dance and mermaid stuff!
